Dragon Fire Invitational: Lady Wildcats go 2-2 in tourney

The Lady Wildcats recently went 2-2 in the Dragon Fire Invitational on Dec. 26-30 at Collierville High School and improved to 5-7 on the season.

Bolton began the tournament Thursday with a win against West Memphis. The Lady Wildcats used a 22-point run in the fourth quarter to beat the Lady Blue Devils 59-57. Bolton do-it-all player Charity Savage scored a game high 29 points.

On Friday, Bolton knocked off St. Agnes 41-36 despite being held scoreless in the second quarter. However, the win streak came to an end Saturday when the Lady Wildcats went up against a buzz saw in White Station. The Lady Spartans jumped out to a 52-29 first half lead and never looked back, winning the contest 77-36.
