The young Bartlett Panther squad fell to 3-11 on the season after going 1-3 in the Dragon Fire Invitational on Dec. 26-30 at Collierville High School.
The Lady Panthers started the tournament strong Thursday with a come-from-behind win against Hamilton. Down 38-25 at the half, Bartlett turned on the jets in the third quarter with a 11-5 run. They finished the game by outscoring Hamilton 17-9 in the final period. Bartlett’s Shondria Scruggs had the hot hand, scoring a team high 18 points.
The Lady Panthers didn’t fare well in their next matchups with Whitehaven, Collierville and St. Agnes, losing by 26, 12 and seven points, respectively.
