Arlington improved to 8-5 on the season after going 3-1 in the Dragon Fire Invitational on Dec. 26-30 at Collierville High School.

The Lady Tigers started the tournament strong Thursday by knocking off Jonesboro 43-29. Reagyn Branch led all scorers in the game with 14 points.

Arlington suffered its only loss of the tournament Friday against White Station. Raylin Starks’ 13 points weren’t enough to give the Lady Tigers a victory against eventual tournament winners the Lady Spartans.

Arlington came back strong on Saturday, beating St. Agnes 50-46. The momentum continued Monday as the Lady Tigers defeated Collierville 41-37.
