Dorothy J. Daleke Hott

flowerSOUTHAVEN, Miss. — DOROTHY J. DALEKE HOTT, 87, was born December 14, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI and passed away July 21, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – DeSoto in Southaven, MS.

Dottie was the bookkeeper for Bartlett Prescription Shop for many years, was a member of the ABWA and was active with Friends of the Orpheum. She was a communicant at Good Shepherd Catholic Church and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anna Minor; one brother, Charles Minor, Jr.; her first husband, Jerry Daleke; second husband, E. David Hott; and one son, James G. Daleke. Survivors include one son, David Daleke and his wife, Janice of Lake Cormorant; three daughters, Kathleen Daleke-Cooper and her husband, Dennis Duboise of Fairhope, AL, Janet Daleke of Memphis, TN, and Caralyn Allen Brown and her husband, Johnny Brown, Sr. of Memphis; four sisters, Kitty, Elsie, Nancy, and Judy; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation was be Saturday, July 25 from 9 a.m. until the mass begins at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Robinsonville, MS. Graveside services will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven. Arrangements were in the care of Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven.
