The Bartlett Art Association is a group of 50 members who paint, draw, sculpt and photograph. This nonprofit organization was chartered in 1988 to encourage, educate, improve, exhibit, and support fine art.
Monthly meetings are held 2-4 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month (except July and December) in the Magnolia Room at Saint Francis Hospital in Bartlett, 2986 Kate Bond Road. Enter through the main doors, then take a left.
The association will hold a holiday party in January in lieu of a meeting. The next regular monthly meeting will be Feb. 2.
The organization also hosts workshops, educational presentations and participates in regular judged and open shows.
Rotating exhibitions of members’ art at the Atrium Gallery of Saint Francis Hospital – Bartlett (between the medical building on Kate Bond Road and the main hospital) are open for public viewing and purchase.
Members also have access to art videos and books. Artists do not need to be a Bartlett resident to join, and artists of all skill levels are welcome. Membership is $30 annually.
