A combination of humor, baffling shots, and instruction will have golfers and guests raving about the comedy golf trick shot show at the Fayette Cares Golf Extravaganza, to be held April 30 at Fair Oaks Golf Club in Oakland.
Golfweek Magazines’ “2013 Golf Entertainer of the Year” Brad Denton will present a unique lunch-time show. Histrick shots demonstrate the fundamentals of the golf swing with a twist. Using a variety of not-so-ordinary clubs, such as a 10-foot driver hit on stilts, Brad helps golfers improve their swing mechanics while strengthening their stomach muscles through vigorous laughter.
Golfers and guests can catch the show and lunch from Coletta’s Italian Restaurant, including lasagna, salad, pizza and sandwiches. The show is included with morning or afternoon tournament registrations and is open to the general public for only $20 per ticket (lunch included).
The trick shot show is being presented by the tourney’s entertainment sponsors, Memphis Contract Packaging/Softee and Fayette Janitorial/Fayette Industrial.
Additional sponsorship opportunities are available, with many caring organizations already on board, including:
- Platinum Sponsors: Memphis Contract Packaging/Softee, Ring Companies, and Town of Oakland, Gold Sponsors Absolute Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC, Carrier Enterprise Midsouth, Fayette Academy, Thrasher Clinic and ServiceMaster by Capital Construction
- Bronze Sponsors: AutoZone, BancorpSouth, and BIOS, LLC, Meal Sponsors BancorpSouth, Huddle House of Oakland, TN, and Coletta’s Italian Restaurant

Generous sponsors and golfers know this is more than a round of golf for families who find hope at Fayette Cares. The funds raised by the tournament help end homelessness, break the cycle of domestic violence, and build brighter futures for many in need.
Morning and afternoon slots are available, with afternoon spots nearly full. To register, volunteer, or learn about sponsoring visit fayettecares.org or call (901) 465-3802, Ext. 221.
