My Town Movers opened in Collierville five years ago and since then the “values-based” moving company has grown its staff to 25 employees, created a nonprofit arm to serve the needs of local Mid-South communities and recently received the Spirit of Collierville Award.
Owned by Noel Fenderson, Preston Burleson and Chris Winchell, My Town Movers is poised for additional growth and expansion in Shelby County. The owners recently talked to us about what makes their business special.
What are some of the things that make your company stand out?
It is values based with a customer-centric focus and has a Business As Mission model. The nonprofit arm that is 501© 3, My Town Miracles, was launched in 2015 by My Town Movers’ owners to even further serve the needs of the local communities.
What are some of the services you offer that other moving companies don’t offer?

What is your level of community involvement?
My Town Movers maintains an active commitment to support the local Collierville area and surrounding communities, including graduates of Leadership Collierville for 2016 and 2017 and summer 2018; coaching for youth sports; the start and operation of the Ministry for Community Leaders that meets weekly at My Town Movers office, the status of owner Noel as an active Collierville Reserve Police Officer and the owners’ service on various boards of directors.
My Town Movers also supports Collierville Schools, Page Robbins Adult Day Center, Bible Museum on the Square, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Toys for Tots, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Memphis, Make-A-Wish, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Dorothy Day House for Homeless Families, as well as serves as a partner to Move For Hunger.
My Town Miracles collaborates with area organizations/businesses and nonprofits (Chick-fil-A Mid-South, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis, Memphis Athletic Ministries in North/South Memphis and Red Zone Ministries in Orange Mound, among others) as it serves both individuals and families throughout the area in need of assistance during difficult seasons of life. www.MyTownMiracles.org
