Universities and colleges have released their lists of Shelby County students who earned degrees and those who have received scholarships and awards.
Graduates
- Union University: Charita L. Atkins of Bartlett was one of the 630 students who received degrees in the spring commencement ceremony at Union University in Jackson, Tenn. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Education degree in education.

Scholarships and awards
- Rachael Maynard of Arlington has been awarded the Presidential Scholarship at Austin Peay State University (APSU) in Clarksville, Tenn.
- Lenisha Parrott-Martin of Memphis has received the Educational Access Program Matching Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo., for the 2014-2015 academic year. She is the daughter of James and Kenisha Martin of Memphis and is a 2014 graduate of Bolton High School.
