Universities and colleges have released the following information about area students’ honors.
- Elizabeth Packard of Lakeland has been initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at The University of Tennessee at Martin. Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society.
- The University of Memphis also has announced local students who were recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Arlington students include Alexandra Lindsey, Meghan Mincey and Andrea Bippus. Bartlett students included Christopher Stallings, Joshua Adams and Leighann Truong. Lakeland students included Catherine Major and Shauna Walker .
- Anna Ricci of Bartlett was inducted April 12 into the Southeast Missouri State University chapter of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. Eligible students must be in the upper 20 percent of their class and must have earned at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average after their first semester at Southeast while maintaining a full-time course load.
- Thaddeus Davis of Arlington was recently inducted into the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. Davis is a graduate student majoring in kinesiology-coaching.
