St. Benedict at Auburndale students are bringing some cheer to some Ave Marie Home residents this Christmas. The school’s Medical Club, under the director of Sponsor Jamie Schneider, provided over 150 wrapped boxes filled with toiletries, snacks and other items for the residents of Ave Marie Nursing Home in Bartlett. The Medical Club also had help from the Latin Club and art and wellness classes in
the effort. On Nov. 30, Ave Marie Home Representatives Robin Howard and Vicki Woods picked up the neatly wrapped boxes for distribution at the home. Ms. Woods commented, “We are so grateful for these wonderful gift boxes. They will bring such cheer to our residents.”
