A Briarcrest Christian School graduate, Marianne Agee was recently awarded the Junior Jack Taylor Award for her service in helping senior citizens involved with the Forever Young Senior Veterans Organization. She received the honor at the organization’s 8th Annual Dreamgivers’ Gala. Agee helped design and sell patriotic T-shirts this past fall to raise funds to send a WWII veteran to Pearl Harbor as part of a Forever Young Trip of Honor. Agee, 17, is the daughter of Mike and Amy Agee of Germantown. She is pictured with Jack Taylor, a WWII Navy veteran for whom the award is named. Forever Young honors veterans 65 and older by sending them back to the places where they served and sharing their stories of sacrifice with others. Courtesy photo.
