This year’s salutatorian at Briarcrest Christian School, Christian Bast, is a National Merit Commended Scholar with a 5.40 grade-point average.
He scored a 35 on the ACT and has completed nine AP courses. Christian is currently serving as president of the National Honors Society in addition to earning memberships in the math, science and Latin honors societies.
He is a four-year member of the track and cross-country teams, a member of the Knowledge Bowl team and a senior buddy.
Christian plans to attend Georgetown University in the fall and pursue a major in history and world languages.
