Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center will bring its two final star-studded shows of the year to the stage on Nov. 30 and Dec. 5.
John Davidson will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in BPACC’s 350-seat theater. Known best for his days as a TV host for shows like “Hollywood Squares” and “That’s Incredible,” as well as his guest appearances on “The Tonight Show,” John Davidson is bringing his unique brand of entertainment right to Bartlett’s back yard.
He is a singer, storyteller, actor and all-around troubadour with an impressive theatrical background. Most recently he played Captain Hook in the musical “Finding Neverland” and the Wizard in “Wicked.”
Tickets to his show are $40.
Musical icon Judy Collins will appear in a holiday show at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 to an already sold-out crowd at BPACC. The Grammy Award winner is famous for her sublime vocals and monumental 50-album body of work that has spanned for half a century. Judy Blue Eyes is a boldly vulnerable and prolific songwriter that led a determined generation to fight against social and environmental injustices through the power of song. Peers like Leonard Cohen, Dolly Parton and others released an album to honor her legacy and contributions to music as a whole: “Born to the Breed: A Tribute to Judy Collins.”
“I am pleased to present these two artists,” said BPACC Director Michael Bollinger. “John Davidson has a huge theatrical resume with a great voice. Judy Collins is a folk singing icon!”
