Bolton falls 13-0 to Cordova Wolves

Boltons RB #35 Devante Williams trys to slip by St Benedicts #7 Josh Kleber
Despite gaining 162 rushing yards in the game, Bolton was unable to score Friday against Cordova, falling 13-0 to the Wolves. Wildcat running back Braylon Porter ran for 93 yards and averaged 18 yards a carry. Senior quarterback Trey Lanfair added 76 passing yards. However, costly turnovers prevented Bolton from getting on the scoreboard. After scoring in the first quarter, Cordova struggled against Bolton’s defense until the final quarter, when Harold Lacy punched in a 1-yard run in the redzone. Entering a bye week, Bolton (1-4) will have an extra week to prepare for a road game against 4-1 Arlington on Oct. 3. RIGHT: Senior running back Devante Williams puts a move on a defender.
