Mr. and Mrs. Marvin E. Belote of Bartlett, Tenn., are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mardi Christine Elaine Belote, to William Cole (Billy) Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Frederick Mitchell, also of Bartlett. The bride’s grandparents are Nora May Crill and Bruce Alton Crill Sr. from Bartlett, both deceased, and Lois Marie Belote and Marvin Harold Belote from Bartlett, both deceased. The groom’s grandparents are Elizabeth Cole Ford and William Smythe Ford and Dorothy Wadlington Mitchell and Robert Cowan Mitchell, both deceased. The bride-to-be graduated from Bolton High School in 2002 and recently received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in business from Christian Brothers University. She is currently employed as an associate marketing specialist for Medtronic. Her fiancé graduated from Bartlett High School in 2001, earned a BBA degree in finance in 2006 and earned a Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) with a concentration in business in 2008 at the University of Memphis. He is employed at Raymond James in Memphis as a vice president in fixed income strategies. Her maid of honor is Emily Garrett, and bridesmaids are Jodi Gunte r, Magen Carpenter and Tania Czemy Sherrod. Best man is Brandon Hetzel, and groomsmen are Matt Henry, Greg Summers and Graham Tutor. All the participants in the wedding party are originally from Bartlett with the exception of the ring bearer, Austin Mitchell, son of the groom, who is from Arlington, and the flower girl, Lilly Spradley, who is daughter of bridesmaid Jodi’s fiancé, Jake Spradley from Munford. Their September wedding and reception will be held at the Woodruff-Fontaine Home located at the Victorian Village in Memphis. The couple will honeymoon at St. Lucia Island in the Caribbean and return to their home in Memphis.
