BBB revokes accreditations for 3 Mid-South businesses

The Better Business Bureau of the Mid-South has revoked the accreditation of three area businesses for failure to comply with the BBB’s Code of Business Practices.

  • BBB-LOGO901 Sounds Auto Accessories and Window Tint’s accreditation was revoked for failure to respond to a consumer complaint. BBB made several attempts to obtain a response and spoke to the owner twice. No response was received. The company also did not respond to a BBB suspension notice.
  • Jack Pope Construction’s accreditation was revoked for failure to comply with an arbitration decision. The company agreed to binding arbitration to resolve a consumer complaint, but failed to comply with the arbitration decision. The company also did not respond to a suspension notice.
  • A 24 Hour Bonding Company’s accreditation was revoked for failure to comply with the BBB Code of Advertising. BBB asked A 24 Hour Bonding Company to substantiate or modify its claim to be the No. 1 bonding company in the Mid-South. The company failed to do so and did not respond to a suspension notice sent by BBB. BBB Accreditation is a privilege and signifies that businesses are accountable, honest, responsive, transparent and ethical. To become accredited with BBB, a business must pass an evaluation process and consent to uphold the standards of the BBB Code of Business Practices.
