Bartlett team earns forensics honors

The Bartlett High School Forensics Team had a successful day of competition at Collierville High School on Feb. 16, bringing home second-place overall honors and setting a new team record of 20 individual event winners.

Winners included:

  • Dramatic interpretation: Kaelin Mitchell, third place
  • Duet acting: Aubree Farrell/Anna Wright, second place; and Sarah Cornelison/Katlyn Young, third place
  • Duo improvisation: Caleb Medlin/Simon Sutton, third place; and Nicholas Priddy/Noah Jobbins, fifth place
  • Duo interpretation: Elizabeth Bennett/Sarah Cornelison, second place; Caleb Medlin/Simon Sutton, fourth place; and Sun Mi Ko/Jacob Peirce, fifth place
  • Humorous interpretation: Joe Kusmierz, fifth place; and Jordan Jones, sixth place
  • Impromptu speaking: Chauncy Johnson, third place; Caleb Medlin, fourth place
  • Poetry interpretation: Alex Grant, third place
  • Storytelling: Katlyn Young, second place; Madison Payne, fourth place; and Rachel Henry, fifth place
  • TV broadcasting: Chauncy Johnson, third place; and Maranda Mays, sixth place
  • Public forum debate: Luke Dabney/Mya Page, second place and Kameron Johnson/John Robson, third place
