Bartlett’s school board showed no dissent on June 18 as members briefly discussed extending the superintendent’s contract during their monthly work session.

If approved at the June 25 business meeting, David Stephen’s contract will be extended through the 2018-19 school year and keep him at the same $160,000 annual salary.

Boards discuss business during work sessions and hold official votes during business sessions.

June 25 agenda

At the June 25 business meeting, the board is expected to review and approve the amended general fund budget for the school year that just ended, the district’s differentiated pay plan, multiple contracts for special education services, facilities assessments, vacations and holidays, and other matters.

The board will also review and vote on policies governing the annual operating budget, the accounting system, gifts, inventories, bids and quotations, expenses and reimbursements and salary deductions. See the more current agenda online at bit.ly/BCS-agendas.
