The Bartlett Police Department reported the following activities for May 26-June 1:
- Robin Hop Lane: Responded at 12:20 p.m. on May 28 to Robin Hop Lane regarding a reported theft from motor vehicle. The victim said someone entered her Jeep parked in the driveway between 1 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. and stole her purse with her driver’s license, Social Security card, birth certificate, four recently refilled prescription bottles and keys to her house, vehicle, safe and farm.
- Crystal Springs Church: Responded at 1:43 p.m. on May 28 to Crystal Springs Church regarding reported burglary of sheds between 1 p.m. May 25 and 1 p.m. May 28. The first shed was a Grace portable shed that had its front door damaged. Someone lifted the bottom of the door, bending it in half and breaking it in an attempt to gain entry or see what was inside the shed. The approx. value of the door is $100. The second structure was a Morgan shed, and its lock latch was broken. Someone stole a Husqvarna 21-inch multi-cut push mower with an orange rear bag.
- Appling Road: Responded on May 28 to a report of vandalism on the 3700 block of Appling Road. The complainant said two neighborhood juvevniles had thrown rocks at his antique car, damaging the paint and denting the body. The officer spoke with one of the suspects, who admitted that he and a friend threw the rocks. The parents agreed to pay for the damages.
- Audubon Ridge Bend: Responded around 5:17 p.m. on May 28 to Audubon Ridge Bend regarding a reported burglary. The victim said his flat-screen Vizio TV was missing from his bedroom when he arrived home around 4:30 p.m.
- Frannie: Responded at 5:15 p.m. on May 28 to Frannie regarding a burglary complaint. The victim said she returned home at 5:06 p.m. and found her front door open, the TV turned on, the attic door open with items spilling intot he hallway, and her plastic box of jewelry dumped on the bathroom counter. She said jewelry, cash and a firearm were stolen.
- Shady Oaks: Responded around 7:42 a.m. on May 29 to Shady Oaks regarding a reported auto burglary. The victim said someone entered her unlocked Chevy in the drieway sometime between 10:30 p.m. on May 28 and 7:30 a.m. May 29and stole the following items: A Sylvania TV/DVD combo ($150), three DVD movies ($60), an iPhone 4s in a black-and-white polka- dotted case ($200) and a Discover credit card.
- Crowell: Responded on May 29 to Crowell regarding an auto burglary. The victimsaid someone entered his unlocked Toyota parked in a driveway between 6 p.m. May 28 and 8 a.m. on May 29 and stole a black Canon digital camera with a black/blue carry case ($200).
- La Casa: Responded on May 29 to LaCasa regarding a reported auto burglary. The victim said someone entered his unlocked Pontiac parked in a driveway and took a bottle of Zoloft with an unknown number of pills ($50).
- La Casa: Responded on May 29 to LaCasa regarding another reported auto burglary. The victim said someone entered her unlocked GMC and stole a phone charger ($25).
- Sycamore View: Responded at 4:10 p.m. on May 29 to Sycamore View regarding a reported bicycle theft. The victim said someone stole her light blue Schwinn mountain bike from her carport sometime between the morning hours of May 28 and 4:30 p.m. on May 28. She said she had left two bikes out after riding them and noticed that the Schwinn was missing the next day.
- Christoval: Responded on May 29 to Christoval regarding an auto burglary complaint. The victim said someone entered her unlocked Chevrolet between midnight and 7 a.m. that day, rifled through the glove box and center console, leaving the contents strewn on the floorboards, and stole a radar detector (unknown make and model, $100) from the back. Baseball equipment in the back next to the detector was left untouched.
- Malco Theater: Responded around 6:56 p.m. on May 30 to the Malco Theater parking lot at 7930 Tennessee 64 regarding a reported auto burglary. The victim said someone stole his Chevrolet Silverado’s subwoofers, amplifer and sub box were stolen sometime between 5 a.m. and 6:50 p.m. The responding officer saw that the vehicle’s passenger side door look had been punched out.
