
Armed pair rob 2 on Davies Plantation Road
The Bartlett Police Department reported the following activities for the period of Dec. 5-12:
♦ Davieshire Drive and Davies Plantation Road: Responded to a Regan Cove location at 8:45 p.m. on Jan. 5 regarding an individual robbery nearby. The victim and a companion said they were walking around 8 p.m. on Davies Plantation Road when a dark four-door vehicle drove past, wheeled around and stopped by the walkers. Two thin black men wearing dark hoodies exited the back seat, and each suspect cocked a black pistol at the victims. The suspects yelled at them both to get on the ground and not look at them. Both victims were searched and patted down for cash and other valuables. They took the iPhone from one woman’s pocket.
♦ Suburban Lodge: Responded to 7380 U.S. 64 around 1:03 a.m. on Jan. 6 regarding a vandalism complaint at Suburban Lodge. The front desk clerk said he saw a white man tampering with the lock on a drink vehding machine in the building’s outside breezeway. The man was about 25-35 years old and wore a gray jacket, bluejeans and brown shoes. Estimated damage to the machine’s lock is $75.
♦ St. Ann Catholic School: Responded at 3:33 p.m. on Jan. 7 to a reported theft from a motor vehicle at 6529 Stage Road (St. Ann’s parking lot). The victim said someone broke her vehicle’s front passenger window between 3:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and stole her black leather purse. The victim also said a witness saw an old silver station wagon pull up behind her vehicle as she entered the school.
♦ Yates Street: Responded around 10:56 p.m. on Jan. 7 to a vandalism complaint at Yates. The victim said someone broke a window on his Jeep. He reported seeing a ’90s small red American-made four-door vehicle parked next to his Jeep take off rapidly westbound on Woodlawn Street.
♦ Needle Ridge Road: Responded around 4:11 p.m. on Jan. 8 to reported theft from a vehicle on Needle Ridge Road. The victim said someone stole various items from an unlocked toolbox in the back of his truck, parked in his driveway. He said the theft happened between 5 p.m. Jan. 5 and 2 p.m. Jan. 8, and he discovered the losses when he saw an orange strap hanging out of the toolbox.
♦ Barrentine Drive: Responded at 4:42 a.m. on Jan. 9 to a reported auto burglary on Barrentine Drive. The victim said someone entered his unlocked Nissan Titan pickup and stole several items between 8 pm. Jan. 8 and 4:20 a.m. Jan. 9.
♦ Sam’s Club parking lot: Met with victim at Bartlett Police Headquarters on Jan. 9 regarding a reported theft at another location on Jan. 8. The victim said her vehicle’s license plate was stolen between 6 and 7 p.m. on Jan. 8 at 8480 U.S. 64 (Sam’s Club).
♦ Thistle Valley Lane: Responded around 1:05 p.m. on Jan. 10 to a burglary complaint on Thistle Valley Lane. The victim said that between Jan. 5 and 8 someone cut the lock to his backyard’s side gate, pulled a shed door off its hinges and stole several items from the shed.
