The Bartlett Police Department (BPD) handled the following incidents Dec. 7-13.
This listing includes the most notable incidents for the reporting period and does not necessarily reflect all police activity.

Dec. 7
Unspecified address (theft)
A complainant reported on Dec. 7 that someone stole Boy Scout Troop 27’s utility trailer ($800). Someone accessed the trailer by cutting a chain and bending the bar used to secure the trailer. The complainant said the theft was noticed sometime before Thanksgiving.
Dec. 8
Oak Road (property damage)
A school zone speed limit sign was reported damaged on Dec. 8. The responding officer saw the bottom light cover was broken off and on the ground, and the yellow light hub was broken in several places. The office also noticed a small dent on the sign’s bottom left side.
Dec. 10
Delaney Alley Drive (theft)
A man reported on Dec. 10 that someone had stolen his 20-piece scaffold set with 40 braces and side arms ($3,500) and 20 jacks ($1,500).
Dec. 11
Narcissus Cove (auto burglary)
A complainant reported at 3:14 a.m. Dec. 11 that he’d seen an unknown male in a white hoodie and dark pants entering two vehicles on the cove.
The owners both stated that their vehicles had been rummaged through but nothing was taken.
Falcon Ridge Cove (auto burglary)
A man reported on Dec. 11 that someone took medication from a disabled vehicle, a blue Jeep Grand Cherokee, parked in his driveway.
He exited his home just before 10 a.m. to retrieve something from the vehicle and saw the driver’s window was halfway down.
Carolot Lane (theft)
A woman reported that her full-size blue mountain bike ($300) was stolen from her side yard sometime between Nov. 1 and Dec. 11. The bike was behind her privacy fence, so she said the suspect must have entered through the gate to steal the bike.
The bike’s make and model was not known at the time of the report.
Dec. 13
Sycamore Hill (residential burglary)
A man reported that someone unlawfully entered his home between 6:30 a.m. Dec. 11 and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 13. He reported several items were missing throughout the residence.
He said he locked all doors and windows before leaving on Dec. 11. The back door leading to the back yard and pool area was closed but unlocked when he returned.
Officers took photos and collected fingerprints in the areas where items were missing and around the doors that the complainant believes the suspect used to exitleave the home.
