The Bartlett Police Department (BPD) handled the following incidents from Dec. 14 through Dec. 20.
This listing includes the most notable incidents for the reporting period and does not necessarily reflect all police activity.

Dec. 14
Stage Road (theft)
A woman reported on Dec. 14 that she and a friend parked at Planet Fitness (5740 Stage Road) the previous day, and someone stole her purse from the friend’s 2005 Toyota Camry while they were inside.
The purse, a green Aldo model ($150), had been left near the back seat on the floor. It contained a pink Louis Vuitton wallet ($1,000), white Michael Kors wallet ($200), Social Security card, California driver’s license, IPhone 6 ($600), US Bank card and Capitol 1 credit card.
She said the vehicle was undamaged, and the doors were unlocked. The total value of the stolen property was approximately $1,950.
Dec. 15
U.S. 64 (theft)
A woman reported Dec. 14 that someone stole her wallet, probably from her shopping basket, while she was at Walmart (8400 U.S. 64). She was at the store between noon and 1 p.m.
The wallet is a woman’s black wallet with white lace and a gold zipper ($40). It contained a Regions Bank debit card, Tennessee driver’s license, Social Security card, birth certificate, insurance and medical cards, and $200 in cash.
When she contacted Regions on Dec. 14 to report the stolen debit card, someone had already charged $34 at a Citgo gas station (3450 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis) between 2 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.
Dec. 16
Summer Avenue (theft from motor vehicle)
A woman reported Dec. 16 that she left her car unlocked and unattended for about 5 minutes at the Playcare Learning Center (6634 Summer Ave.), and someone stole her wallet. It was between 5:35 p.m. and 5:40 p.m.
The wallet contained about $692 in cash, a PayPal Visa card with an estimated balance of $500, a Tennessee driver’s license and her child’s Direct Express cards. The total amount stolen is estimated to be $1,204.
Dec. 17
Ivanhoe Cove (stolen truck/trailer)
A man reported that someone stole his truck and the attached trailer from his driveway in the early hours of Dec. 17.
The truck is a white 1997 Chevrolet truck ($5,000) with an extended cab and step side bed, barbed wire decals along the sides, a red eagle covering the back window, and an arrow as an antenna on the front of the truck. Inside the truck was a black-and-orange tool box with various tools ($300).
A black 16×7 trailer ($1,600) covered with a gray tarp ($200) was attached. The trailer contained a black-and-red Red Max backpack blower ($350) and a red Gravely Riding Mower ($2,500). It also had two stainless steel toolboxes ($100 each) containing various tools and attached to each side of the trailer.
The victim said he went to bed at midnight, and his son woke him up at 4 a.m. when he returned from work to advise that the truck and trailer were gone.
U.S. 70 (auto burglary)
A woman reported on Dec. 17 that someone burglarized her unlocked 2010 Chevy HHR the previous day. She said it was parked on the east side of the Playcare Learning Center (6634 U.S. 70) between 11:30 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Someone took an HP laptop computer ($200) from the backseat and an Apple iPod and charger ($80) from the console.
She said nothing else was taken, to the best of her knowledge, and there was no damage to her vehicle.
She also noted there was another report of an auto burglary the same day at the Center: An unknown male suspect driving a silver Kia was captured on video at a Cordova Walgreens, using a credit card stolen from another complainant’s purse.
Robinson Cove (theft)
A victim said someone stole a Star Shower laser light projector ($39.99) from her yard between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 16 and 5 a.m. Dec. 17.
Dec. 19
Shadow View Lane (theft)
Another woman reported Dec. 19 that someone stole her Star Shower laser light ($40) from her yard overnight between Dec. 16 and Dec. 17. She also said someone stole two packages from her front porch.
One package stolen Dec. 17 contained two pairs of Nordstrom shoes ($100 each) and a Nordstrom handbag ($400). The other package contained a Segway hoverboard ($400) and was stolen between 5:10 p.m. Dec. 18 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 19.
The total estimated value of items stolen was $1,040.
Lamesa Lane (auto burglary)
A man reported Dec. 19 that someone had broken into his 2001 Honda Civic and stole a prescription and three dollars’ worth of coins from his center console. He leaves the driver’s door unlocked because of issues with the door’s lock.
He last saw the missing items in the vehicle at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19.
