The Bartlett Police Department reported 94 arrests for the period of Feb. 10-16, including misdemeanors and traffic arrests. All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty. Arrests are public information. (Click picture to enlarge.)
The Bartlett Police Department reported the following activities for Feb. 10-16, 2014:
Feb. 10
Oak Trace Cove: Responded to Oak Trace Cove in regard to a burglary call. The victim said her home’s backdoor was forced open and the lock broken when she returned from work. Items missing included a Samsung TV, an Insignia TV, a Dynex TV, Sony PlayStation with one controller, a Nintendo Wii with two controllers, and all her jewelry.
Feb. 11
Appling Road: Responded around 10:11 a.m. to Appling Road regarding a stolen/lost donkey. The victim said she keeps multiple horses and donkeys on her lot at Lexie Garner in Bartlett. On Feb. 10, she discovered that one of her donkeys ($100) was missing. It is a two-year-old brown male donkey that stands approximately four and one-half feet tall, and it was wearing a bright pink halter and white muzzle.
Memphis-Arlington: Responded at 3:38 p.m. to reported vandalism at Memphis-Arlington. The victim said a group of white males ages 12-16 tore down portions of her fence sometime in the last month. She said she did not know their names but could identify them and does wish to prosecute.
Feb. 13
U.S. 64: Responded to reported theft at Seth’s Lighting at 8250 U.S. 64. The victim said a license plate registered to a 2005 white Chevrolet van was stolen overnight.
U.S. 70: Responded at 2:45 p.m. to reported theft of a trailer at U.S. 70. The victim said he came to Compass Self Storage to get his 4- by 8-foot utility trailer from the secured lot and found it was missing.
Raner Creek Drive: Responded at 4:10 p.m. to a burglary complaint on Raner Creek Drive.
The victim said someone stole the white side-by-side refrigerator from the kitchen sometime within the past three weeks. There were no signs of forced entry.
Sycamore View: Responded at 4:32 p.m. to theft report on Sycamore View. The victim said a Hotpoint washer and dryer set were stolen from her carport sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. that day.
U.S. 64: Responded to a theft/lost property complaint at Walmart on U.S. 64. The complainant said she thought her wallet had been stolen; she was almost positive it was in her purse when she entered the store around 6 p.m. She shopped in cosmetics and the Valentine’s Day section by the grocery entrance and then went to the checkout around 7:25 p.m., where she discovered that her wallet was missing. The last time she remembered seeing or using her wallet was around 6:30 a.m. that same day when she made a purchase.
Yale Road: Responded at 9:04 p.m. to a reported theft from a motor vehicle at Christ Church, 5955 Yale Road. The victim said someone stole items from her Toyota RAV4 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. The only items missing were a gym bag of clothes from the back seat ($50). The vehicle’s rear passenger side window was broken.
Feb. 14
Appling Road: Responded to the 3700 block of Appling Road regarding a reported theft. The victim said someone broke into his storage shed and stole several power tools between Feb. 5 and Feb. 12.
