The Bartlett Police Department (BPD) reported the following incidents for Dec. 22-28, 2014.

Dec. 22
Germantown Road (business burglary)
Responded at 9:44 a.m. on Dec. 22 to the Colombian Restaurant (3108 German-town) regarding a burglary. The complainant said someone entered the back of the restaurant between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 20 and about 9:30 a.m. Dec. 22 and took $75 from the cash box.
E. Lake Oaks Drive (residential burglary)
Responded at 12:09 p.m. Dec. 22 to a home on E. Lake Oaks regarding a burglary. The resident said she left home around 8:30 a.m. and returned at noon to find the rear door kicked open and lying in pieces on the floor. Two TVs and a laptop were missing.
U.S. 64 (theft from motor vehicle)
Responded at 6:40 p.m. Dec. 22 to Lowe’s (8300 U.S. 64) regarding a theft from a vehicle. The victim said someone broke into his Toyota Camry between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. while it was parked on the northwest part of the lot, by the lumber entrance.
Someone broke the front driver’s side window and took the following items: a leather Fossil bag, an iPad 2, a MacBook Pro, various documents containing credit card information, a First Tennessee checkbook, various Southwest Tennessee Community College student information sheets, a leather folder, a black Griffin case on the iPad 2 and a Sony backup battery charger.
The victim said he had already cancelled the checks and credit cards.
U.S. 64 (business robbery)
Responded at 10 p.m. Dec. 22 to Ty’s Smokehouse (7174 U.S. 64) regarding a robbery. The complainant reported that two black males in gray hoodies and black masks had a handgun and robbed the business at gunpoint. The suspects fled the scene in a white four-door vehicle that appeared to be a Ford Taurus, headed eastbound.
Dec. 23
Germantown Road (theft of vehicle parts/accessories)
Responded at 7:45 a.m. on Dec. 23 to Infiniti of Memphis (3060 Germantown Road) regarding a theft.
The complainant said someone punched the driver’s side door lock on his 2006 Ford while it was parked behind the dealership sometime between 7 p.m. Dec. 22 and 7 a.m. Dec. 23. The only item stolen was a DVD/CD stereo ($650).
Memphis Arlington Road (burglary)
Responded around 5:50 p.m. Dec. 23 to a home on Memphis Arlington Road regarding a burglary.
The complainant said they returned home from a three-day trip to Canada around 5 p.m. and found the entry unlocked and several items missing. Officers did not find any signs of forced entry at the exterior windows or doors.
Dec. 24
Shadow Hill (burglary)
Responded at 8:15 p.m. Dec. 24 to Shadow Hill regarding a burglary. The complainant said someone stole her Dell laptop and iPad 2 from the kitchen table while she was away, sometime between 7 p.m. Dec. 23 and 7 a.m. Dec. 24, when she rose to let her dogs out and noticed the items were missing.
She said she believed all doors were locked, but she was not sure. There were no signs of forced entry at the residence.
Dec. 26
Old Brownsville Road (non-residential burglary)
Responded at 1:50 p.m. Dec. 26 to the burglary of a storage building at a home on Old Brownsville Road. The victim said someone took several older tools from the shed between Nov. 26 and Dec. 26. The tools belonged to her husband, and the victim could not provide details on the number or kind of tools.
