Bartlett Police Report for Sept. 23-30, 2019

The Bartlett Police Report for the period of Sept. 23-30, 2019, lists the most notable crimes for that period as reported by the Bartlett Police Department. It does not necessarily reflect all police activity.

All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and values are estimated for stolen/damaged items. These are brief summaries of detailed BPD reports.

Daybreak Drive: An officer responded to a theft complaint. The victim said he left the house and forgot to close the garage door. He later returned and noticed the door leading into the house from the garage was unlocked. When he searched the residence, he noticed that the keys to his vehicle were missing. Reported Sept. 23.

Unspecified address: A woman reported that her vehicle was missing, and On-Star had tracked it to an address in Memphis. MPD was contacted and took possession of the vehicle. Reported Sept. 23.

Centralia Road: A man reported that someone had stolen his vehicle from his residence. He said he had left the keys in the vehicle. Reported Sept. 24.

Meadowlands Place: A victim said someone had burglarized two vehicles in their driveway and multiple items were missing. Reported Sept. 24.

Barbaro Drive: A woman said she left the house to grab breakfast, and when she returned she realized that someone had stolen her pressure washer from underneath her carport. Reported Sept. 25.

Sunrise Ridge Drive: A man reported that someone had stolen his motorcycle ($6,800). Reported Sept. 25.

Pine Oak Drive: A woman reprted hearing a window break in her bedroom, and she saw that someone had thrown a brick with an attached note through her window. She noted that she had called the police earlier in the year about some people using the park next to her home. She believes the same persons may be responsible for the incident. Reported Sept. 26.

Brenners Place: A man reported that someone burglarized his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in his driveway. Reported Sept. 26.

Bragg Lane: A man reported that his leaf blower was missing from his back yard. Reported Sept. 26.

U.S. 64: A representative of Mojo Cafe (7124 U.S. 64) reported that someone entered the restaurant, grabbed the tip jar and ran out with it.
The suspect ran into the parking lot and entered a white truck, where a driver was waiting for him. Reported Sept. 27.

U.S. 64: A woman reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle at McDonald’s (8062 U.S. 64) and stole her purse. Reported Sept. 27.

Barrentine Road: A woman reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole multiple items. Reported Sept. 28.

Trey Hobbs Cove: A victim flagged down an officer and reported that someone had stolen his lawn mower from his garage. Reported Sept. 28.

Germantown Parkway: Security guards at the Infinity dealership (3060 Germantown Parkway) reported that they saw a suspect with a tire iron in his hands, pulling on door handles. The suspect knelt down next to several vehicles and then left the property. Officers found him on Germantown parkway near the south side of the lot. They identified him and found that he had with him a small glass pipe that he admitted was for drugs. He also had a small black flashlight and silver pliers. Reported Sept. 29.

Santa Cruz: A man reported that an unknown suspect driving a dark sedan stole two packages off his porch.
