Tennessee marks its Arbor Day a little ahead of the national one. In the volunteer state, Arbor Day is celebrated the first Friday of March. Nationally, it’s the last Friday of April.

Bartlett citizens broke ground for a tree earlier this month in the Municipal Park behind City Hall.

The City of Bartlett has been recognized by The Arbor Day Society as a Tree City USA since 2007.
