Bartlett High School Marching Band season has come to an end, and the band’s supporters say they are so proud of how far the band has come under the guidance of Director Dwight Dodd, Assistant Director Shelia Dodd and special staff members Jeremy Shrader, David Dickens and Sara Ray.
The band earned the following honors in its final three competitions of the season.
Oct. 3: Sonic Mid South Marching Classic in Jonesboro, Ark.
- Superior – First Division Bands
- Second place – Class AAAA Field Commander
- Second place – Class AAAA Color Guard
- Second place – Class AAAA Band
- Third place – Gold Division
- Third place – Overall Band out of 16 bands
Oct. 10: Paragould Marching Invitational in Paragould, Ark.
- Class AAAAA – Soloist Award – Rebecca Alberson
- Superior ratings -Band, Field Commander, Percussion, Color Guard
- Seventh – Overall Band out of 21 bands
Oct. 24: Bandmasters Championship
- Class AAAA – Excellent Rating
- 17th place – Overall Band out of 31 bands
