Teens with special needs and a love of sports and games had a day of fun Friday at Bartlett High School’s annual Olympics for Exceptional Athletes.
The activities lasted from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the school’s football field.
Events included track and field for exceptional students from local municipalities’ middle schools and high schools.
They also were able to enjoy carnival games and face painting, and lunch was provided for all participants.
Volunteers assisting at the event were from Bartlett Best Buddies and DECA, and select individual students also helped.
Mascots from local schools and teams were available for pictures.
