Bolton jumped out to an early 20-10 lead in Friday’s rivalry game at Bartlett and never looked back. The Wildcats improved to 13-2 on the season after a 67-50 win against Bartlett and a 72-66 victory three days later at Munford. Despite shrinking the lead to seven points before the half, the Panthers were unable to challenge Wildcat offensive threats Jalen Fisher and DeAunte Houston. The Lady Wildcats won the rivalry match 45-44 behind the hot hand of Charity Savage, who finished the game with 18 points. With the game tied at 12 and the end of the first period, Bolton went on an 18-8 run before the half. The Lady Panthers began to whittle the lead down in the third quarter before making a convincing run in the fourth. However, Bolton’s first-half lead would prove insurmountable.
