Blue hair is nothing unusual when Dr. Seuss and pals show up. Bartlett Elementary marked Read Across America Week later than usual this year because of bad weather during the national celebration.

The school made their own fun with a week celebrating the birthday of beloved children’s author, Dr. Seuss.

The week began with a group of community leaders who were invited into classrooms to read from a Dr. Seuss book.

Each day was used to show school spirit through the use of a Dr. Seuss book.

Students participated in daily trivia questions from a Dr. Seuss book of the day.

The week began by celebrating “Cat in the Hat.” Students, faculty, and staff came dressed in Cat attire along with Thing 1 and 2.
