In honor of this week’s Veterans Day holiday, the Black family in Bartlett shared photos of their three generations of military men serving their country.
In the composite photo above, they include:
- The grandfather, Kenneth Black, as an inductee at Ft. Hood, Texas, in 1956
- The father, Army Capt. John Black, a 1984 graduate of Bartlett High School
- The son, Jonathan Black who recently graduated from the Helicopter Training School at Ft. Eustis, Va.
Capt. Black is now stationed in Houston, Texas, and Private Black will soon be reporting to his first duty station at Ft. Riley, Kan.
