Bartlett City Schools’ musicians usher in the holidays

Students from the Bartlett City Schools district will be welcoming the holidays with the following special events:

  • 7 p.m. Dec. 6: Bon Lin Middle School will have a dramatic performance of “Too Many Daughters.” Tickets: $5. The school is at 3862 N. Germantown Pkwy., Bartlett.
  • 7 p.m. Dec. 7: Bartlett High School Choir will perform “A Winter Eve Musicale” at the River City Church, 3871 Kirby Whitten Pkwy., Bartlett.
  • 4 p.m. Dec. 8: Appling Middle School Choir will perform Christmas carols at Macy’s, 4660 Merchants Park Circle, Collierville (Carriage Crossing mall).
  • 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10: Appling Middle School Choir will perform at the Bartlett Public Library, 5884 Stage Road, Bartlett.
  • 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10: The Appling Middle School Holiday Band Concert will be at New Hope Christian Church, 3300 Kirby Whitten Road, Bartlett.
  • 7 p.m. Dec. 10: Bartlett High School and 9th Grade Academy will provide a Holiday Band Concert at Bartlett United Methodist Church, 5676 Stage Road, Bartlett. Tickets: $5.
  • 10 a.m. Dec. 11: Altruria Elementary School’s 5th Notes will perform in the main lobby of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, 848 Adams Ave., Memphis.
  • 6 p.m. Dec. 11: Ellendale Elementary School’s second- and third-grade Holiday Program will be at the school, 6950 Dawnhill Road, Bartlett.
  • 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11: Elmore Park Middle School will perform its Holiday Band Concert at New Hope Christian Church, 3300 Kirby Whitten Road, Bartlett.+
  • 7 p.m. Dec. 11: Bartlett 9th Grade Academy’s Choir Concert will be at Bartlett United Methodist Church, 5676 Stage Road, Bartlett. Tickets: $2 for adults and older children; free for children 5 and younger.
  • 8:20 a.m. and 9 a.m. Dec. 13: Altruria Elementary School’s Holiday Performance will be at the school, 6641 Deermont Dr, Bartlett.
  • 6:30 p.m. Dec. 13: Bon Lin Middle School’s Choir Concert will be at Bartlett Baptist Church, 3465 Kirby Whitten Pkwy., Bartlett. Suggested donation: $2.
  • 6:30 p.m. Dec. 13: Appling Middle School’s Winter Orchestra Concert will be in the cafeteria of the school, 3700 Appling Road, Bartlett.
  • 11 a.m. Dec. 14: Appling Middle School’s choir will perform at Saint Francis Hospital, 2986 Kate Bond Road, Bartlett.
  • 8:30 a.m. Dec. 17 and 9:45 a.m. Dec. 18: Christmas programs for third, fourth and fifth grades will be at Oak Elementary School, 3573 Oak Road, Bartlett.
  • 2 p.m. Dec. 18: Appling Middle School’s Jazz Band will be at The King’s Sons and Daughters Home, 3568 Appling Road, Bartlett, and Ave Maria Home, 2805 Charles Bryan Road, Bartlett.
  • 6 p.m. Dec. 18: Bon Lin Elementary School’s guitar recital, “Frosty’s First Adventure,” will be at the school, 3940 N Germantown Pkwy., Bartlett.
  • 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18: The Appling Middle School Choir’s Holiday Concert will be at Bartlett United Methodist Church,5676 Stage Road, Bartlett. Tickets: $3.
  • 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18: Bon Lin Middle School’s Winter Orchestra Concert will be at Bartlett Station Municipal Center, 5868 Stage Road, Bartlett.
  • 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18: Elmore Park Middle School’s Winter Orchestra Concert will be in the cafeteria of the school, 6330 Althorne Road, Bartlett.
  • 7:30 p.m. Dec. 18: The Bon Lin Middle School Winter Band Concert will be in the gymnasium of the school, 3862 N. Germantown Pkwy., Bartlett.
