Ted Archdeacon, Bartlett’s new director of personnel, was sworn in at the May 24 city board meeting.
Archdeacon is a graduate of Millington High School and the University of Memphis, where he obtained a bachelor of business administration in general management.
He was the senior manager of human resources for Brother Industries from 1991 through 2013. He worked as the director of benefits for Fred’s Inc. from 2014 through 2016.
He is a graduate of Leadership Bartlett and has served as a citizen representative on the city’s Grievance Board. Ted and his wife, Jill, have lived in Bartlett for 24 years.
Their two daughters, Elizabeth (11) and Olivia (9), attend Bartlett City Schools.
