Local author Jeri McBryde has a story included in the recently released Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Dog. Her story is “The Dog that Lives under the Table.”
This book includes 101 humorous, touching and true stories about canine companions.
McBryde, who is from Bartlett, said she loves sharing her life experiences in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series with the hope of helping others. She lives in a small Southern delta town. Retired, she spends her days reading and working on her dream of publishing a novel. A doting grandmother, her world revolves around her faith, family, friends and chocolate.
Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Dog was released Feb. 9.
Chicken Soup for the Soul is donating the royalties from the book to the American Humane Association, along with royalties from its other new book, Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Cat.
