June 30 event explains benefits of rain gardens

Germantown Community Library invites the community to learn about rain gardens with Master Gardener Mary Wilder at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30. Pre-registration is required and has already begun.

Rain gardens are designed to reduce water pollution and storm water runoff from roofs, driveways, walkways, parking lots, and more. Rain gardens capture rain in your yard, controlling wet areas with attractive natural landscaping.

For more information, call 757-7323. The Germantown Community Library is online at germantown-library.org and facebook.com/GermantownCommunityLibrary.
