Arlington got 90 rushing yards on just five carries from sophomore Kenny Walker Friday night to run away with the game at home against Manassas. Up 27-0 at halftime, the Tigers cruised to a 41-8 win and improved to 2-0 on the season. Quarterback Tate Kolwyck chipped in 115 passing yards and two touchdowns. Arlington’s defense allowed only 96 total yards and five first downs. Receiver Caleb Nelson caught four passes for 58 yards and two touchdowns. The Tigers will host Whitehaven this Friday at 7 p.m. Arlington defenders will have their hands full slowing down Whitehaven running backs Kylan Watkins and Chris Witherspoon, who combined for 146 yards last week against Florence Central of Alabama.
