The Memphis Area Home Sales Report showed year-over-year home sales growth trends in 2013 for Bartlett, Arlington, and Lakeland.
“It was a very solid year for the local market with sales up almost seven percent and average sales price rising 10.6 percent,” said Greg Glosson, president of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR). “Certainly, it is encouraging as we enter 2014.”

Bartlett: Total home sales rose from 865 in 2012 to 987 in 2013. Existing home sales climbed from 745 to 865. New home sales were almost unchanged, rising from 120 to 122. Bank sales dropped from 195 to 162.
Lakeland: Total home sales rose from 225 in 2012 to 265 in 2013. Existing home sales climbed from 184 to 218. New home sales went up from 41 to 47. Bank sales dropped from 30 to 25.
Arlington: Total sales rose from 304 in 2012 to 331 in 2013. Existing home sales climbed from 226 to 255. New home sales dipped slightly from 78 to 76. Bank sales dropped from 48 to 34.
