Agricenter invites public to second wave of sunflower blooms

Agricenter International’s second planting of sunflowers is blooming now. This wave of blossoms is the result of more than 78,000 seeds being planted in two phases for the community to enjoy.

Photographers and observers are invited to enjoy, but no one is allowed to pick the sunflowers. For this phase of blooms, park at the lot at Walnut Bend Road and Germantown Parkway instead of the grassy field used last month.

Blooming sunflowers tend to last a couple of weeks, depending on the weather.

Tag Agricenter International in your photos for inclusion in their album, email to info@agricenter.org, or use the hashtag #AgricenterSunflowers. Photos of last month’s sunflowers are online at agricenter.org/sunflowers.
