Anna Jones is the newly appointed principal at Arlington Elementary School. She will replace current principal Gina Gore, who is retiring at the close of the school year.
Jones began her educational career at Altruria Elementary School in Bartlett as a fourthgrade teacher where she taught for nine years.
She taught second grade at Arlington Elementary before being selected as an assistant principal there in 2009. She has served the Arlington students and community for the past seven years.
She is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She earned her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.
