The Arlington Community Schools district filed a permit this month to build its first school bus parking lot and a support building at a cost of more than $371,000. Both will be built at 11491 Memphis Arlington Road.
Currently, buses are parked on a vacant lot owned by the city. The 600-square-foot building will house restroom facilities and a break area for drivers to use between routes.
The contractor is Barnes & Brower Inc., and BWSC is the architect.
