In center, Wei Tzu Wen, from Taipei, Tawian, spent July 1-16 with Landon and Kim Boone of Bartlett. She enjoyed many of the city’s parks and said she couldn’t believe how friendly everyone was. Wei, known as Violet during her stay, celebrated the Fourth of July at Bartlett’s event and said she was delighted by our community’s and country’s patriotism. This was her first trip to the U.S. The city of Bartlett gave her some departing gifts as she readied for her trip back home.
