Local children are practicing hard for the upcoming Nov. 21-22 performances of Starfish Circus at the Arlington High School auditorium. The event helps children develop skills for healthy and active lives through circus and performing arts. Coaches rehearse with up to 50 students on aerial skills, partner acrobatics, clowning, juggling and showmanship. The hour-long performances will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Nov. 22. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and older; the cost is $8 for children ages 12 and younger. Photo by Scott Steele
