Munford’s run attack proved to be too much for Bartlett Friday night as the Panthers allowed 427 rushing yards and fell 42-35 to the Cougars. Both teams traded points for much of the game. However, Munford scored late on a 2-yard run from Clayton Richardson to seal the deal. Richardson finished the game with 178 rushing yards and averaged nearly 13 yards per carry. The Panthers did most of their damage through the air, with quarterback Jonathan Bowlan throwing for 246 yards and four touchdowns. Bowlan, who also ran for a touchdown, hooked up with Christian Busby, Mario Washington and Eugene Ford for touchdowns. The Panthers are now 4-5 on the season and scheduled to play Kingsbury Friday night for the final game of the regular season. ABOVE: Jurieen Martin pulls a Munford defender toward the endzone.
