Spokesmen for the Shelby County School district are providing scant information about allegations that a teen girl has been selling sex at Bolton High School.
The district did note on Tuesday that six students have been suspended so far for various reasons as a result of the investigation.
A spokesman for Shelby County Schools said the number could change as the investigation continues.
The story, which broke on Oct. 20 and has been reported in multiple media outlets, is now being investigated by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO).
