Steampunk lit to visit library on Sept. 27

Come celebrate the steampunk literary genre in Bartlett on Sept. 27 with help from a Memphis group, the Clockwork Mechanalists. The 3 p.m. event at the Bartlett Branch Library will include a dramatic reading from a steampunk classic, a show-and-tell of hand-designed technology and more. FCNB to mark anniversary on Sept. 24

PrintThe public is invited to celebrate First Citizens National Bank’s 125th anniversary with cake and refreshments at any FCNB financial center location 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept.24. The bank also is donating $1,250 to each of their four regions to help support a community project. Visit their Facebook page to vote on a project for “The Unbelievably Good Giveaway.”

Bartlett home sales sagged in August

In August, Bartlett saw a 22.7 percent drop in home sales compared to the same month last year, and the median sales price dropped by 1.8 percent.
