A couple of weeks before school started, Aaron Clemons of Bartlett completed an Eagle Scout project that honored the new Bartlett City Schools district and welcomed new students coming from Bolton.
His project included refreshing the faded Bartlett Panther paw prints in front of Bartlett High School, adding paw prints in front of the new Bartlett Freshman Academy, and cleaning the Bartlett High School side parking lot.
He obtained the school board’s approval, and chairman Jeff Norris got Bartlett’s Public Works to assist.
Clemons also led a team of 20 people in July to remove trash, dirt, leaves, mud and sand all down the west side of the parking lot. His mother, Susan Clemons, said it took two trucks to haul away all the compacted trash.
