Bartlett, Memphis welcome new Wingstop locations

Rapper and entrepreneur Rick Ross celebrated the grand opening of two Mid-South locations for his Wingstop restaurants last week.

wingstop logoThe Bartlett location at 2839 Bartlett Boulevard opened in May and had its grand opening event on Aug. 14. Festivities included promotional giveaways, as well as autograph and photo opportunit6ies with Ross.

The new Memphis location opened in June at 1619 Union Avenue and had its grand opening event on Aug. 13.

“It is most definitely an exciting time for me and what I like to call the ‘Boss Wings’ team when we open a new Wingstop,” said Ross, who personally hosted the celebrations.

He continued, “Not only is it growth for us, but also growth for the community, providing jobs, good food and a family environment for the people of that city. We definitely look forward to continuing to help grow the Memphis area.”

At the Union Avenue event, Memphis mayor A.C. Wharton gave Ross a symbolic key to the city, honoring the economic and community contributions the Wingstop locations have provided.
