A Lakeland woman faced an armed intruder during a July 23 home invasion.
She entered her home on the 4200 block of Lock Meade Drive just before 5 p.m. and heard an alarm chime, indicating an opened door. She told Shelby County Sheriff’s detectives that a suspect approached her, pushed her to the ground, brandished a knife from his pocket and fled out the back door.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation is active and ongoing.
