A Bartlett wrestler hopes to be the last man standing in Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge and bring home a $10,000 prize. Joe Pass said if he wins, he will use the money to give his fiancée the wedding of her dreams.

Pass, 24, says he is up to the challenge. He has worked previously as an unarmed bodyguard in third-world countries, going places where guns can’t, he said.

At 5’9” tall and weighing in at 170 lbs., he’ll need that toughness.

In Episode 103, he wrestles against an iron worker, two former Marines, a Navy pilot, a former police officer turned personal trainer, a musician who’s a self-described adrenaline junkie, and a financial analyst who dead lifts more than 400 lbs. and runs obstacles courses as a hobby.

Read about his competition on the event’s online bio page at CMT. Episode 103, featuring Pass, airs at 7 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. July 20 on CMT in the Bartlett area.

The series premiered on CMT July 6. Five episodes feature men, and five feature women.

The last man standing earns the right to take on Austin’s “Skullbuster” obstacle course for the chance to win $10,000. It’s a half-mile course with 10 obstacles. If more than one person beats the course, the best time wins.
