The Bartlett varsity baseball team improved to 24-5 on the season Monday after a dominant 16-1 win over Cordova. Junior pitcher Patrick Asbell got his first win of the season. The Panthers have now won six of their past seven games. Bartlett will play four of its last five games of the regular season on the road, with contests this week against Houston, Collierville and Lewisburg. The Panthers will host 20-5 DeSoto Central on Friday before traveling to Germantown next Monday. Four of the Panthers’ five losses this season have been on the road.
